    need help

    just got a rc truck and the steering stopped working and the brakes too

    Most likely issues with getting power to the receiver.
    In Avatar: Falcon 120, BVM EDF

    Dynam Me262 1500mm. 110 mph as shipped. Still pushing the CG back.
    Dynam P-51 1200 mm. Flies better with 3S 4000 than the OEM 3S 2200.

    Batteries/battery contacts... switch, loose plug, failing solder joint. I would bet a voltage test at the + and - wire of any servo would be below 4.0v, possibly below 2.5v. I don't know of any servos (except in ultra-micro aircraft) that will move at less than 2.5 v. If using 4 AA alkaline cells you should have a minimum of 4.8 v when you replace the batteries. The drop off from there to 0 is very fast.

    There's also the need for the TX to have adequate power but usually they have some form of indicator to say they need new batteries or recharge.
