    Exceed-RC Optima motor specs

Do you have any specs on the Optima motors? I purchased an Optima 400 Brushless Motor 2215-920KV and it didn't come with any documentation at all. I would like a spec sheet detailing max current, recommended props, etc.

For that motor I don't know what size the prop you should use but there is a desceription on our website here http://www.hobbypartz.com/75m17-opti...215-920kv.html.

So, does this mean there isn't any documentation other than what's on your website? The information there is not only lacking in detail but the "specs" given in the two charts conflict with one another (Which is it - 140W or 170W ). My own tests show this motor pulls a little over 20amps on 3s and a 10x5 APC. An 11x4.7 pushes it up to 26amps. What I would really like to know is the max continuous and max burst current spec so I know how hard I can push this thing.

    Eric,

...Huh? What are you talking about bro'... None of that has anything at all to do with what I'm asking. Maybe you do not understand the question. What I'm looking for is the manufacturer's specs for the motor - like this data that Scorpion publishes for one of it's motors:

    Specifications:
    Stator Diameter ................................... 22.0 mm (0.866 in)
    Stator Thickness .................................... 5.0 mm (0.197 in)
    No. of Stator Arms .................................................. ..... 12
    No. of Magnet Poles .................................................. .... 14
Motor Wind .................................................. 32 Turn Delta
    Motor Wire ............................. 5-Strand 0.17mm (33 AWG)
    Motor Kv .................................................. 1980 RPM / Volt
    No-Load Current (Io) ........................ 0.76 Amps @ 10 Volts
Motor Resistance (Rm) .................................... 0.168 Ohms
Max Continuous Current ...................................... 12 Amps
Max Continuous Power ....................................... 130 Watts

    Weight .............................................. 32.0 Grams (1.13 oz)
    Outside Diameter ................................. 27.9 mm (1.097 in)
    Shaft Diameter ..................................... 2.97 mm (0.117 in)
    Body Length ......................................... 17.6 mm (0.693 in)
Overall Shaft Length ............................. 40.3 mm (1.588 in)

The items in bold are what I would like to have for the Optima motor. Is this information available?

    Thanks,
    Doug
