How has you barca held up so far.

If you get mcd gears you can get a really low ratio so the buggy will launch hard. But you will lose your top end speed.

Your buggy should of came with a extra set of plastic gears. If it didn't those gears you linked to are the for pin ones. If you want to run those you will have to upgrade to the for pin shafts. But...

You should check out ddm and largescalerc sites. They have lots of goodies for the buggies. Steel gears are a must if your going to do any motor hop ups. I just striped mine on the first full tank...

From the research I have done there only a few parts that will work. The Baja is 2wd and the barca is 4wd. Which I like the 4wd better.

Bajas might be better. But money talks I don't have a lot. Lol. So with the money I saved I will be able to make the upgrades on the for the same price I would of payed for a new Baja.
