Rain...what's Rain? No fly day just yard work...yawn...
Thanks for that Rich, I had wondered if the landing skids were the same on the nano and the msr.
One thing I'd like to mention that I haven't seen anyone post yet. If you can find a local hobby shop first go there and have a look around and talk to the guys there. They can help a lot. I have...
To windy to fly outside today so I moved a load of bricks. They don't fly. LOL
I wish I had that problem...not hitting myself, just having hair...
Thanks for the heads up, cant wait till my birthday when I can buy one.
Ran 4 packs the V200D02 and 3 through the MSR. No crashes...I'm learning
I have both and I think a flybar is a good place to start if your a total newbie. It gives you the chance to learn the controls before worrying so much about the thing getting so far out of control...
Gotta watch those cats man they're dangerous!
Thanks Bully :-) Would hate to imagine a 600 blade coming at me at high velosity... scarey! Those things can kill somebody if they get lose.
Check out horizonhobby.com you can get an MSRX right now for about 88 bucks on sale. It's a flybarless 4 ch thats kid of in between a 4 ch FP and a 6 ch CP. It can do rolls once you learn how to fly...
If your going to go that route you might want to look at the Blade 120 SR. They're great helis and the hobby stores always have parts and you dont have to worry about things being out of stock with...
Good info from all here but it sure sounds like one of the main gears is stripped to me. Just turning it wont fix it you need to visually inspect all the teeth on the gears. Once stripped you dont...
Looking forward to better weather myself, tired of the cold. Not as resilient to it as I use to be before chemo. No breakage today!
Yeah, thats the only thing I've ever broke on mine but I flew it into a tree outside going pretty fast and it bounced of 3 branches before it stopped. OUCH! That things tough though, cant say enough...
It wasn't on purpose believe me.
You got that right flygirl. Everyone gets out of the way when the MCPX comes out at my house. That thing can hurt someone. Some people say you really should wear eye protection in case of a blade...
You'll love the nano.
It looks to be about the size of a 120 SR... Kool, very Kool!

Time to move south! or should I say fly south!
Dang it Rich, easy on the parts there buddy! I crashed my old computer just got my new one up and running after buying a bad one first. Had to take it back to the store for a refund then ordered...
I wonder how many times I've seen that exact same post by guys wondering if their wives are gonna kill them after seeing the credit card bill. LOL...Me too!
Looks like U could twist some of that wire to make a battery mount easy enough... maybe. I havent broke my skids yet... know I will eventually but they've lasted several weeks now.
I dont have a 120 but I do have a MSR and an MCPX and the canopy pegs are built onto the frame on both so I'm supposing they are on yours too. There are lots of ways to fix those that require a...
Flew 2 packs through the MSR. Got distracted by the dogs hit the ceiling fan which in turn threw heli into cactus plant hence cutting cactus plant with blades. (no damage)
Flew 3 packs through msr. Dodging the cat quite well.
