Grew up on the Coast of South Carolina. Joined the Marine Corps in 2001 at 17 yrs old and finished active duty service in 2006. Worked in local law enforcement for a while then in 2008, I took a job in Atlanta, and my wife and I moved to Douglasville, GA and have been here ever since.
I'm into regular guy stuff, cars, music, movies and RC toys. I spend most of my days off either driving/tuning my car, a 2009 Mazdaspeed 3, or flying my RC heli, a Syma S033G (not the best, I know).
I just recently bought my first RC RDF Jet, an Airfield F35 64mm. When I say literally, I mean this morning at 3:30am (March 3, 2012)...haha I was thinking about one for a while, then last night my wife gave me the go-ahead...I couldn't sleep at all!! So I hopped online on my phone and ordered it :)
I've heard that an EDF jet is not the best RC plane for a beginner but, I learn new things extremely quickly (I picked up the RC heli almost immediately with minimal crashing, and light ones at that) and I figured since my wife gave me the go-ahead, that might not happen too often with such an expensive hobby, so I better make it count!!!
I also have a 4500mAh battery I plan to use with it and a genuine B6 Ultimate 200 watt charger :)
Looking forward to participating, learning and contributing to this forum :)
