The electric starter on NITRORCX.com doesn't specify that it fits the engine in the madbeast. Anyone know if it does?

hey whats up answer to your question is yes there is a ez starter fot the madbeast but what kind of engine do you have  because that will determine what size back plate to put on it if you have a .21cu in or higher you can go to  redcatracing.com and get a ez starter they also sell a ez starter for smaller engines like .16cu in  and .18cu in well hope this helps you out and good luck.

the answer is yes, u can purchase it from nitrorcx.com, but the parts incuding in electric start kit could not fit madbeast well. i just put electric start on my madbeast, tat really killed me! i've to cut some parts off by a heated knife, if not i cant get those parts on engine. it takes long and really tough to do.

The MadBeast is kinda the same as the HPI Savage (except the Savage is way better!!!). So heres a link to the Savage Option Parts and I bet alot of the parts will work for your MadBeast and there is a Roto Start for .28 engines that I think will work for it. Here: http://www.hpiracing.com/kitoptions/867/ Hope this helps. Smiley

Ive always liked the pull starts, its simpler and all one thing to carry around, and its just fun to start it that way for me.

But this reply has nothing to with with actually telling you where to get one, so... sorry.

Has anyone found one that works for sure?Huh??  I really want to order one and not spend $65 on something that's useless.  I've tried everything for a pull cord(even tripling 100lb musky line!!!) and nothing I mean nothing holds up for very long.

Someone please tell me how I can make one work or one that flat out works...

They got these for the nitro boat engines, basically same engine, just a water cooled head. It goes in place of the ull starter. You would have to check with the manufacturer to see if it will bolt up. Don't manna tell yo ya for sure. You would also have to turn it to the side, put hole in frame to insert starter, but that would be the easy part.

I've been reading at several different places that you can start up an Nitro RC with a drill. Most say you only need a couple parts to do it like an extension bit. I'm waiting for my RC so I can try it.

You just need the back plate for the engine, and a dog bone for the drill.
