RC cars won't respond to help me

After having trouble with my sons RC (electric) truck I was told to send back the motor and ESC, to be replaced.  RC did not tell me to remove the gear off of the motor prior to returning it.  The new motor did not come with a gear.  I have tried calling about a hundred times (it seems).  Only once did I actually speak to a person, who promptly put me hold, never to come back.  I have tried e-mailing RC 3 times.  They keep telling me to use this venue to get my issue resolved.  What the @@#$&^%# does a discussion board have to do with them sending me a new gear (or my old one that is unhurt)for the new motor?  At this point I am very disgusted.  How do I get RC to return my motor gear?  Do I have to purchase one?
