The battery(7.2v, 6cell) might be the problem.
Please remove the motor, then battery. Connect them together, red to black, black to red. Then let the battery run for the whole time until it runs out(well, not the whole time, disconnect them between 3 minutes of run, so it can cool down) Once you done that, charge your battery again for 6 hours, reconnect your motor, and try it out now.
Also, please use freshly new AA battery
Is it the interference problem? Too many things going around in your neighbor hood that mess up your radio? Go to a good, clear parking space to play, might help too
Look inside the motor to see if is mess up, or does not look right

Just bought the sunfire with the brushless motor and ordered an extra battery.  the car takes the 7.2 with the red clips, however the extra battery they sent was the 7.2 with the white attachment clips.  its not compatible with the car.  Is there an adapter I can buy?
