Hey Raygun and RTFheli

Thanks for the replys. You were right Raygun the circuit board tracer was discolored going to the motors. I resoldered the tracer and I now have motor operation, now just need to order rotors and a tail truss. I think thats a great idea to install fuzes in the motor circuits, will do. Thank you both for your advice and also the links for spare parts.

nuttcaze, I too must say thanks.
I knew how to tear apart and fix most problems before i even recieved my B.S. from xheli.
I was very concerned i would have problems with my heli before i even recieved it, but after U have posted most of the solutions for us i was willing to give it a solid effort.    I set it up as suggested before even flying it , level swashplate, checked for loose screws, unwound antenna,  and all i can say is i am very pleased with this helicopter.     I have had it for a couple of weeks and finally got to try it out in a very large store room. it flys awsome .... my few questions are.......can a larger battery be used with it, are there any parts from the 53#1 that will not work, and how far can u really safely go before the signal gets too bad and u lose control.( thinking  of ariel video this summer) lol
thanks again

Hello Thanks for the nice videos nuttcaze

Just got around to fixing my blazing star. After putting to all back together upon trying to take off my B.S. as it leaves the floor it wants to go backwards right away. I made an antenna like yours only i used carbon fiber instead of plastic and glued the broken tail section back on with amazing goop. Could the antenna tube by why it wants to fly backwards?

Following your instructions regarding setting the "Extent" I find that no matter where I set the
little screw my blazing star always turns to the right, even in the extream opposite position where
i'd expect a left turning there is no change. Each time I unplugged the battery and waited for
the gyro light to glow steady.

I checked the levelness of the squash plate and it appears level, and I should mention
my blades are a bit dinged, replacements are enroute...

  Any suggestions???

One of your motors might be going bad. Swap them and see if it always turns to the left now.

Gee, I hope not, it's a brand new heli, about 2 weeks old with less than an hour of fly time,

I'm suspecting the rx 406 receiver, when i took the cover off it was loose, and i find it odd
that no matter where i adjust the little screw the right spin stays the same, no increase
or decrease, trim tab also no change... only holding the stick slightly to the right makes the
correction, and then there is no futher right rudder...

I'll have to wait to explore the inside, rc tool kits are on back order

I just got a BS. Its my first heli, but I'm having problems because it keeps spinning clockwise, I did the extent adjustment but it keep spinning in every setup that can be done to the extent.
Any thoughts how to fix it? or maybe I'm doing something wrong?

I have the receiver with the two cables together.

Appreciate any help.
