I wanted to get some input from you guys on my proposed course of action.

I think I am going to trade in (sell) my E-Razor 450.  I just dont think I am ready to fly this thing.  I have been eyeing the new Blade SR as its replacement.  The one issue I have is that I have already converted my E-Razor into essentially a 2.4Ghz BNF heli to include a gyro upgrade.  I am just getting too frustrated with trying to fly this thing.  So I turn to the RCdiscuss masses to get input on whether this is a good move or not.

Question-
Would my hopped up E-Razor draw a decent price to cover a Blade SR purchase?  It would even include the OEM gyro, servos and the dreaded Racon6x controller and a bunch of spare parts eg. main shafts, tail shafts, booms etc.  Is downgrading in size going to provide me the ability to actually fly.

I know my Blade MSR purchase is probably the best investment yet in regards to my sanity.  I can fly the sh1t out of that thing.

Thanks for the input guys.

Maybe you should keep it.
When it comes time for me to do some real flying and I manage to crash, having a second heli is sometimes the only thing that keeps me from stroking out.

The SR will get you ready for your 450 pretty quickly too.

Just a thought.

Mckracken is right keep the 450 just don't use it while training with the other helicopter.
When I first started getting into the hobby I bought a 450 belt and ended up feeling the same way as you and sold it so I could just buy a Fp with lots of spares.
I regretted doing so because once I could fly my FP I wanted a 450 and had to buy another..If I would have just kept the old Belt-cpv1 would have been a much nicer transition.

looking back it was a mistake I'd box the 450 and hold on to it.
Plus if one goes down atleast youd have the 450 to atleast do some hover practice or something to keep you training while the new parts ship.

Great points guys.  I am just trying to balance the budget here but If what you guys are saying is right, I will be buying another 450 anyways.  :Huh??

Mckrackin, do you live in the Fort Bragg area?  I just got back from the hobby shop and was talking to a fellow soldier looking at helis with the last name Mckrackin...

That would be toooooo weird if that was you.

thanks again.
