OK, I had never ending problems with vibrations and blade tracking (mine is EXI 450 standart). A lot of effort(different blades, adjustments)  no results.
Finally I found the problem. Hole in the main hub is drilled at angle.
Not sure what to do if I buy new EXI hub it may have same problem.

I have a question though.
I don't see any rubber dampers in the head.
Without those, the hole is really big and sloppy.

Are the dampers in both sides of the head? It's hard to tell if it's really machined wrong from the pics.

Top picture big and small holes are not concentric, middle picture both holes (other side) looks quite concentric already.
In the bottom picture rubber dampers and shaft are in. you can see dampers are sticking a little out (as nothing is pressing them in).

I figured out the vibration issues with the tail!

After upgrading to a CNC tail, it seemed smooth for a while, but I guess after things loosened up a little, the vibration started to come back at high rpm. Of course, the CNC tail isn't going to twist!

I went through everything, and then went and bought some Align plastic tail blades for the SE V2. The problem is now GONE!

When changing the tail blades, I noticed that one Exi blade was marked 'A' and one 'B'. All of the Align blades that I bought were marked 'C'. These markings are for different weights I found out.

Just for fun, I reinstalled the original plastic tail and it's smooth too!!!!

So, if anyone has a bad tail vibration, just get some Align tail blades!!!
Worked for me!
Kent

Randomly, I have found tail blades needing balancing.
Some do , some don't I think I'll go through what I have and look for those markings.

Thanks for that akent, I was thinking my vibration might be coming from my tail, and this confirms my theory might be right.  I'll check that first this afternoon.

Swash mix should have a setting for Aile, Elev Pitch.
Typically defaulted to 60,60,60
change the polarity of the pitch value (if positive, make it negative for example).

Looking for an opinion while I'm doing initial setup on my EXI... by the way... great videos Nutcaze!  Learned alot by watching them.  Is there an advantage as far as eliminating flex in the control arms by replacing them with CNC?  They're not that expensive and you would only need 4???

Thanks in advance.

If you have a plastic version, go metal head/tail on the first nasty crash is my opinion.

Plastic has more slop. It's ok, but you can't really run high RPMs easily with it.
Here is a vid of a plastic EXI I set up for a friend. For sport flying (which is what he does), it flies pretty good. Just not as stable in a hover as the metal head does.  He's using EXI 9g servos on cyclic.

EXI 450 balance

Pardon my intrusion but my EXI 450 Squadron seems tail heavy. I have a TP 2100 pack in front and still need to throw a 1300 ma pack on the lower tray just so the tail boom is level.

Does everyone else just accept the tailboom not being level and fly that way or is there something I'm missing. All the 450 designs seem to be very similar and should have the same issue.

Thanks for your reply!
