Requirements:
18H71-EXI-ARF450 http://www.xheli.com/newbofrexisq.html

Brushless-UpgradeKit-B http://www.xheli.com/brushless-motor-25a-esc-lipo-battery.html

(4) DigitalServo_RaidenDMA016 http://www.xheli.com/ra12grmipldi1.html

EK2-0704B-EskyGyro http://www.xheli.com/esky-gyro-ek2-0704b.html

Digital 6 channel programmable radio suchs as DX7, DX6i, JR 9303

Step 1:
Trim off the excess plastic on the servo mount on 2 servos. Mount the alieron and pitch servo from inside the frame. The servo's orientation should be set so that the spinning axis is closest to the swashplate. The elevator servo doesn't need to be trim off and simply insert and mount to the frame. The elevator servo's orientation should be installed so that the spinning axis is furthest from the swashplate.

Thanks for the videos!  I have not installed my electronics on my EXI, but I just took a look and think that most of the ball links are pretty tight with the linkages, do these need to be sized better?  If so what is the size of the tool I should get, is that a 3.5mm ball link resizer I need?

Hello,
What are diferences between EXI 450 squadron and standard edition (for except canopy color and servo mount)? What is tail pipe diameter (I want to use aluminum tail from my old heli)?
Thanks.

Almost all of my links were fine, there were only 3 or 4 that I resized, not sure on the sizer though, I just used the link sizer that comes with the EXI tool kit.

not 100% sure on all the differences, a few are that the Squadron has the T-rex 450 SE V2 rotor head, the other ones are based on older versions. The Squadron also mounts the servos differently, 1 up fron 2 in the back, also it has a newer frame.

The boom is 12mm in Dia

This was such a good instructional video, I just ordered the package for myself. Grin  (not like I needed one ) I see XHeli has all the components needed set up as options. Very convenient. Cant wait to build my own. Thanks nuttcaze and XHeli !!!!! Grin

Can you please post a picture of a head of the squadron (on all pictures I found the upper part of head is not completely visible).

Nice heli... Love the video build. You mention the tail being the weak spot and to replace it A.S.A.P. What tail do you recommend?

Again, another nice video.  I used it when I was seting up my Belt CP after I installed the RX for the DX6i.  The should send you more helis to set up.  Just out of curiosity, did you leave your swash mix at 50/50/50 ?  I had to bring my pitch up to 75 to get to 11 degrees of pitch.
