Hey guys, this is my first post here, because I got my first nitro for Christmas Cheesy. I think I have completed the break in, I'm having some trouble starting it, but that's not the point. I'm wondering about what the best tuning settings would be for a mid-climate on this car(Southern California). I have it at 1.75 turns out right now, but I'm not sure if that's correct. Also, can anyone provide pictures or a video on how to ajust the transmission to shift? I'm not hearing it shift, so either it's very subtle or it is set to shift much too late. I have searched, but cannot find how to adjust the shift screw on the Forza, only other cars. Thanks for any help!

Hello,
About tuning, if you know how to tune then that's great because there is no correct setting for a nitro engine. Climate and many other factors can affect tuning, one day you may think it is dialed in but the next day you find the tuning is off. So each time you use your car just check the tune if it is running fine then leave it. And about 2 speed shifting, I found this video on youtube I hope it helps Wink Nick Smiley

Cool, thanks for the help! Also, I have another question: Whenever my transmitter is close to the car, within 3-5 feet, the car will freak out and the servo's will start turning back and forth, the throttle will usually go wide open, lol. What should I do to stop this? It also does similar things when you touch the antenna  Undecided I am stopping by a hobby store tomorrow to get a fail-safe and a new glow plug (I ruined the stock one...  Huh?) Will the fail-safe protect against this? It is annoying ot have to keep the radio away from the car at all times.

Hello,
About the failsafe first, it will stop your car from running away if it loses signal or if there is intereference between your radio and receiver. However, It will not stop your car from running away if the battery comes lose, as it needs to power to operate.

Most cheaper servos that come stock with RTR cars can become glitchy when the radio is too close, or from 'metal to metal' noise which can affect the servos as well. Having a fully charged abttery can help prevent servo twitching, but as long as you have a fully charged abttery and failsafe it should be fine. My servos have jittered before and I had to turn off the receiver and transmitter, wait a bit, and turn them back on. The erratic servo performance was probably due to some sort of intereference. AM radio are more vunerable to intereference then FM or 2.4Ghz, so it really is causing you problems you can upgrade your radio system and that could solve your problem.
