Hey all,

I've had about 1 galon running threw my engine and recently my engine seem to run pretty hot so i remove the engine and decided to seal it in case i have an air leak somewhere.  I've sealed the backplate, carb and also 2 needles.  I've installed my battery rotostarter at same time and give it a try yesterday and it running again damn hot !  My highest temp i got was 315 deg Far.  After some time, the engine just stall and i am pretty sure it's because it's too hot.

I will seal the screw which hold the carb in the engine block and will put a zip tie on the rubber section of the throttle to see if it helps...

Do your engine runs that hot and do you have any idea what could cause that ?

I am using O.S number 8 plugs.

Thanks,

Dan

I guess its good that you sealed it, but all you have to do is change the tune a bit.  Richen the HSN some.

In a sense.  The HSN does slightly affect the other needles.
