I just purchased the upgrade aluminum head and tail for the blade 400. You can't miss it. it's on every page.
It's great quality except the anti-spin pin is a screw that was drilled at an angle of about 5 degrees (I cheated and bent it to make it straight).

Also the main shaft arrived bent. I didn't notice it until I put it in the bird and fired it up. the head just wobbled around.
It's not the same shaft as the blade 400 and the 400 shaft will not fit.

I went to every RC store in San Diego. Where can I  get a shaft that will work with the "5-star CNC aluminum Head and Tail" for the Blade 400??? Do you stock them? Is there a part number? Is it from a different heli? I purchased this over a week ago and still am not flying.

Without a regular supply of shafts, this upgrade is pretty but usless.
PLEASE HELP...

 Huh?

the anti rotation is just only a screw so please use locktite to secure it. if your shaft is bent on arrival what's your order number so I can issue rma and exchange you another one. The main shaft will be instock soon.

What will be the part number of the shaft that will work on the blade 400 with your alum upgrade head?.
Why are you having people order this upgrade if you can't use a stock 400 shaft with it and the only usable shaft is no even available.

Locktite is not the problem with the anti-rotation screw. It was originally drilled and tapped at an angle. It has to be bent.
The shaft that came with the head was slightly bent and, as you mentioned, no shafts are available for this unit.

The tail does work fine as would a t-rex tail. The head is a nightmare and I've put more then $100 in experimental shafts, dremil tools, etc. trying to get it to work.

Again.. a tad disapointed in your selling a product without shafts available (recommend all blade 400 users wait until shaft is available). Your stock 400 shaft will NOT work.

What is the part number of the new shaft and when will it be available? I will send you the order number for a full refund.
Thanks for your understanding in this issue.

... and please stop selling blade 400 alum heads if you don't have shafts to support the client
. My alum head is now a paper weight.

I have tried to call many times only to be disconnected after about 45 minutes on hold "Failure to connect".

Come on X-Heli. You can do better then this.

Sincerely,

George Rillo

George,

I believe you I've spoken to you over the phone on this issue. Like I said we'll have it but just not now. If you think you received the blade 400 rotor head that's defective simply return it and I'll exchange you with another one.

I will do that andy but still can't use the head as there are not any shafts available. Is there anyway to purchase about 6 shafts to hold me over?
Even with the defects corrected, I can't use it.

You didn't mention an approximate delivery date for the shafts. Stock Blade 400 shafts and t-rex shafts will not work with this head.

Can you please tell me if you can send me some shafts and when the actual availability will be for the shafts that fit this head?

You have to admit why buy an aluminum head if there are not any shafts available for it. On the phone you told me I could use either the shaft that comes with it OR the blade 400 shaft. This is incorrect. As you know the Blade 400 shaft will not work.

I appreciate your response....

Well George if you didn't see the shaft available for sale at the time of your purchase shouldn't that be your consideration to begin with? Yes shaft will be available soon and I don't have ETA. You can simply return it and wait. When we have the shaft avaiable then you can purchase the the upgrade again. Smiley

You're saying this is my fault for not checking the inventory of each item? If I purchase an EXI heli from you, does the buyer need to check the inventory of each and every item included in the kit. I think it's safe to assume that purchasing a head for a blade 400 means that the default shaft will work with it or there will be a part number (that I've requested three times) and a notice that your default blade 400 shaft will NOT work with this item but you can order shafts through us using part number ______.  The truth is shafts have never been available.

I appoligize for the negative tone but please don't insinuate this is my fault because I didn't check availability of shafts. I did call and spoke with a representative (I think Andy) that said I could use the shaft that came with it or the stock blade 400 shaft.

I did my research, the head is really quite nice (except for the miss-tapped anti-spin pin and bend default shaft).

As I mentioned in my phone call, I was so impressed with the quality that I wanted to order an EXI right away but this was before I noticed the bent shaft and miss-drilled anti-spin arm on the swash plate. I don't even mind bending the pin to get it to work but without shafts..... end of story.

Order Number: 435388

Please issue an RMA for a refund. I will send tail and head back as soon as I receive the RMA.

Thank you for your cooperation and when you get the kinks out of your manufacturing, I would gladly return. For now, it's a copterX from Heli-Brothers.com.

Sincerely

George Rillo

p.s. The swash plate leveler I ordered work great!

Can you please send me the part number of the shaft for the blade 400 head upgrade?
When the part does come in, I'll need the exact part number to order them.

Do you have a date you expect them in?

George

p.s. This is for a friend of mine. I already returned my head and tail unit via the RMA you gave me for a refund.

Thank you so much....

Yadac123, have you been able to resolve this issue at XHELI.com?  I need to buy a new main shaft and some feathering shafts for my 5-Star CNC aluminium head. ( sold by XHELI )   A speedy reply wouldl be nice.
