My name is zach and i just had a few questions about the tectonic and battalian. they r pretty much the same thing arent they?  like i want the tectonic look but it has no ground clearance. i was wanting to buy the battalian and just put the truck body and tires on that cuz its got way more clearance. i realize i would have to take the wing and wut not off and rearrange a few things and readjust the shock tower so the holes would line up on the body.  So i just want to know is this possible to do.  thanks

Are you sure you want the Battalion? Because Exceed is a bad brand and and you cant get there parts at LHS`s. What`s your budget? Because there is so many other "good" cars that you can get.

The T-Maxx is only $70 more than the Battalion.  In my opinion, that extra 70 dollars will easily be earned back on money you will save on parts and shipping, as the Exceed cars are a bit more fragile (and I won't deny it, they're cheap), and they charge a lot for shipping.  On www.amainhobbies.com the T-Maxx 2.5 is $340, and the 3.3 is $380.  That is pretty standard price for any dealer I would consider reputable and honest, so don't be fooled into thinking they are very expensive just because Nitrorcx charges $450 for the T-Maxx 2.5.  Go with whatever you wish, but I can tell you from experiencing both options that putting down the extra change right from the get go saves frustration and money in the long run.  If you do decide to go with the T-Maxx though, I would highly recommend that website I provided.  I've had several purchases with them and never had a problem.  Great prices, fair shipping rates, and fast too.
