Hot bodies has some good stuff.  The D8 buggy is a good one for racing so I imagine the T will be pretty good.  It looks good at any rate.

However, it is pricey.  A Main Hobbies sells the kit for $440.  (shipped on March 16, but you can pre-order it).  A good engine for the kit will be at least $160, so that is already $600.  And then you need all your electronics and a pipe.  Or you can get a RTR 8ight-T with a Spektrum DX2.0 radio for $499 from A Main Hobbies.  I'm sure the D8T is great and I love kits as much as the next guy, but that 8ight-T RTR combo is just an unbeatable deal.

Fair point. But I would like one of these more than a 8ight because the 8ight is abit common at my track

Hopefully the price will go down, but I dout it will due to the credit crunch ect.

Anyway i'm surprized about the price because of the dispriction of it:
"...super stable and easy to drive truck that will get you to the winners circle without breaking your piggy bank."

This thread is pretty old...before the 2.0 came out.  The 1.0 is pretty much completely phased out.  I don't think you can find a shop that still sells them.  If you want one you'll have to buy it used.
