Here's a little email conversation from an existing but potentially larger customer and a larger customer base.
You can't be getting a lot of Canadian business based on the shipping I encountered. 
(Please note I have already ordered other stuff but had it shipped to Sumas Wa.  I can't drive there ...5 hours... just any time so would like reasonable Canadian shipping if possible)
So I emailed and below is the exchage where I mention $4.95 to USA but $32 to Canada and then I'm told it's expensive to ship to the other side of the world.  If you are in California then Canada is not on the other side of the world!!!

i ordere a 6s 5000mah 30c lipo the other day and it said it was in stock but now after i emailed support to ask why my order was on hold i was told  it was not in stock. so i bought a lipo from my lhs so i do not need this. my order # yhst-62196343123315-24363. please pm me so we can work something out

Sorry.  You seem to have missed the point.  We are on the same continent and I do not think the difference in shipping should be so large between the US and Canada.  If you could improve the cost of shipping to Canada you would get much more business from Canada, as your products and prices are attractive.

I stated I can't just drive across the border.  It's a 10 hour drive round trip so I wouldn't normally do it to pick up a few items from Hobbypartz.  I'm not going to burn 30 gallons of gasoline to pick up an order.
