So with the Exceed RC Champion Pro, a 9.6V 5000mah nimh battery will be fine in stock form?

Anything above that, I would have to change the pinion?

Yes, Why not use lipo 5000? it's more efficient.

I have been trying to tell him to get a lipo for days now..  Wink

Lipoz RULE. I even rigged up my flashlight with a lipo and alarm.
