Hi everybody, I was wondering if anybody could tell me how I could make my exceed rc dynamite pro a little faster. I was wondering if there are any pinion gear upgrades that I could install on it. I was thinking about adding maybe a 29t, or 26t pinion gear to it. If so, does anybody know where I can get bigger pinion gears for it, and if so then what size of pinion gears would work on it? Will a bigger battery help make it a little faster? right now I am using the stock battery. I would really appreciate it very, very much if anybody could help me out. I love this truck it has been very good to my kids, and I. I would just like it to go a little faster, if I am able to. Once again thank you very much for your help in advance.

A higher count pinion gear will make the car go faster. However, it will also make the motor draw more amps. You can very easily "overgear" your car and burn out your motor or esc.

What pinion do you have now? I woudl get a couple different ones and try them out. They are only a couple a bux each.

Start off easy and check your esc for escessive heat as you go.

A battery with a higher voltage will make the car go faster as well. What battery do you have now? What is the max voltage the esc can take?

Right now I have a 18t pinion in it, I am using a 7.2 volt 2000mah battery, the esc is a novatech hsp 75amp esc. thank you very much for replying back to me.

?? I was helping avacodo out and I think he has the same esc. If so it will support upt to 12v.

If so get a better battery it will make the most difference. Look at a lipo. Find the thread where xxavacadoxx and I were discussing his car. He was doing the exact same thing.

Stick a lipo in it and it will make a world of difference.  I wouldnt go over 20c discharge though.  Watch out it will get hot quick.  I stuck a 3s 1800mah 20c lipo in mine and it was doing flips and wheelies.  Also probably took the top speed up 10 mph.

11.1v 20c 4000mah battery. Plenty fast. careful, crashing at this speed means lots of broken parts. If you take it off a jump with this setup do not punch the throttle while your in the air and landing. Doing that results in highly incresased chances of gear strippage since there is no slipper clutch. Throttle to set the jump. let go to get the nose down a bit then throttle after you land. Punch the throttle with this setup and your dynamite does somersaults! again with this type of power mind the gears and your truck will last longer.

I have a Dynamite pro and I put a 3s in it and yes it did go much faster but it
burnt out the esc and smoked the motor. Maybe it was just bad luck I don't
know or maybe the esc cannnot handle the power.
So I bought a 60A EZRun esc and another brushless motor for it and it broke the
pin on the driveshaft and stripped the spur gear. Bad luck again, I don't know.

my dynamite pro with the 4000 mah has made a longer runtime and noticeable speed over the stock battery.
