New to the world of  rc and rc drifting. i'm not looking to get competitive but i still want a great product to fool around with.  I have been looking into the HPI sprint 2. I am pretty sure that is the one i want to go with, but my cousin has a barely used exceed drift star that he wants to sell for like 60.00. My question is should I go ahead and get the exceed to practice with and save up for the hpi or not waist my time with the exceed.  I also bought a used nitro 4 tec that i'm currently building. thankyou for your time

$60.00 bucks for a driftstar is a pretty good deal if its in good shape.  Parts are cheap and you will find out that hpi's are not.

I would take the madspeed over either the driftstar or sprint 2 imo.

The quality between the HPI and exceed isnt really even comparable.

Like the difference between a BMW and a daewoo.
