Hello from the frozen midwest,

I recently purchased a E Razor with 6 channel transmitter.  The day after I ordered the Helo, I noticed that the package included a FM Tx. w/ digital readouts.  That same day I was on the Web and saw that the package now included the 2.4 Ghz. transmitter, so I called back and updated my order to include the new 2.4 Ghz. transmitter. Which one is better?  I know there are interference problems with the FM transmitter. How do you change the settings on the transmitter w/o readouts? Is this even offered with the digital readout, but in the 2.4 Ghz. format?  I am a newbie but I am trying to find the optimum setup w/o exceeding the CFO's budget.

Thanks for any and all assistance,
JC

2.4GHz gets less interference (except from microwaves) and has good, solid transmission.

If you're talking about the Racon TX, my 2.4GHz version doesn't have a readout, and I can't change some settings because of it.  There is a plug on the side of the TX, and I assume it's for connecting a readout but I don't know.

The first post in this thread will tell you all about the Racon 2.4GHz TX: http://www.rcdiscuss.com/index.php/topic,19783.0.html

My advice is to fly this TX if you can, for a while, then get a Spektrum DX6I.  That's what I'm gonna do.
