No, you just want to make sure you have the servos connected to the right ports. Not gonna blow up if there not, just won't work right.

Everything you need to figure it out is in your manual and the mycoolheli site with the radio manual. all radios are different

this is where it gets interesting cause most of us use different gear. dditch mentioned earlier he wants you to try his website directions and let us know how it works. Follow me:

download this file
http://www.mycoolheli.com/files/BlueRay450PE_default.zip

then follow these directions

thedood,,,,you should start a new thread in the 'advanced users' section. It will get more attention there and you'll get quicker responses from more people. Not saying Kloner isn't doing a good job here,,,,he's doing a fantastic job helping you,,,,,,but a lot more folks hang out in the advanced users forum and they may benefit also from your tutorings.

You seem to catching on to this real good,,,,we'll have you flying soon!!! But,,don't rush it!!!

Just in case some of you guys didn't catch this before on a recent post, I ordered that new heli that hasnt been released yet called the Blade SR RTF. Since someone suggest that i learn on something easier.

Now, in your honest opinion, do you think i should continue to build this GAUI while i am waiting for the Blade to learn on which will probably take me a while to learn anyway or should i keep both just for the h3ll of it?

I have been thinking about it a little bit, and im hesitant to sell the GAUI and learn with the Blade, then maybe after i get the hang of it, attempt this whole "build it yourself" ordeal again..

So, if i do deicde to sell the GAUI with everything but the battery charger for the heli and a Gyro, would anyone be interested in taking it off my hands for a reasonable price?

First,,,I doubt you'd get all your money out of the Gaui that you've spent so far,,,but maybe.

The Blade SR is a very good move. If you are serious about this hobby and you aren't in desperate need of the money,,,,set on the Gaui,,take your time and finish it at your own pace while learning on the Blade. The Gaui 200 is an excellent heli and will fly circles around the blade,,,it's just pretty tough as a learning heli.

It's up to you,,,,the Blade will become boring after you learn to fly and you will want another heli once you master it. You can always sell the Gaui later if you choose to. Their are places that you can list helis for sale like helifreak and runryder. You could list it at 'r-c-h-e-l-i-t-a-l-k-.-c-o-m' too.

Once you get the hang of flying these,,,you'll love it,,,and most likely become a heli-addict as most of us are!! WARNING-- there are no heli addiction support groups,,,if you DO find one,,DON"T tell me about it!!

Yeah, i understand your point, but right now i have about $500 between the GAUI and the Blade. My fiancé knows about the GAUI, but she doesnt know about the Blade. Hehe. So i guess i wanted a reason to cover my a$$ when and if she finds out that i have two helicopters. As you said before im sure it will be while before i do any 3d stuff, and im sure even on the Blade it will take me a while to get used to.

I guess i would rather sell the GAUI and maybe in a couple years once i master what i can from the Blade, start on something a little less advanced then the GAUI. im still confused about lots of stuff especially the friggen servo part. I still didnt understand the directions kloner posted. Reading this > http://www.mycoolheli.com/BasicCCPMsetup.html is all gibberish to me. Lol. Green to black to yellow WTF!! So i have this program running while i have all the servos in?

One another note. I'm not looking to get all the money i invested in fact i would sell everything i have already for $200 bucks. Flat out. Screw it.

Anyways ill still keep trying this servo delio.

Thanks dudes.

It looks like the blade will be a good start. IF you don't understand radio programming, your not gonna understand setting this thing up. If you need to move it, look at run ryder or heli freak and post it in there classifieds.

I am pretty sure your tripping out on the explanation of which way the wire goes into the plug... we got a long way to go

The guy offering a Blade 400 and cash is making a very good offer if the B400 is in good shape and complete.
I would ask him about it.

the size and the fact it is together... nice bird to learn on and the money or some of you wanted, good deal. not to dis your bird, but gaui has a lot of versions above the one you have that are around the same price. Part of the problem with them, they have a new model every year... there flybarless version for a little more is the one
