I believe he uses Phoenix?

http://www.mycoolheli.com/RCHeliSimulator.html

I'm planning to add my opinions on each as I've now tried a few of them.
I just got Phoenix on saturday and ran it for a while.
I used FMS for years, I have been using Clearview for about a year or so.
I also have Realflight 3.5 and a friend let me borrow RF G5

Realflight is a resource HOG. You need to have a fast computer and a good graphics card.
FMS is very light and fast but physics is not so hot.
Clearview is Java and resource friendly, does not reset that fast but still runs on slower computers (I have it on a P4 3ghz that is like 4-5 years old I think).

Pheonix Physics is very good. Probably a tad better than clearview.  I can't say for sure which one I like better but I can say Pheonix will load lightning fast, resets lightnigh fast and does muliplayer very well.

I run clearview w/ an esky USB sim box and Phoenix with either a DX7 or a cheap ARF tx (Wfly) that has a JR trainer plug on it.

BOth Clearview at $39 + $20 for the box is a great Bang for the Buck.
Phoenix at $120 + use your own Tx (get the right chord option) is also great Bang for the buck.

Thanks!

I've searched around here but just didn't quite find the info I was looking for. Even after the fixes to make it run on Windows 7, FMS still didn't seem right. I have to rely heavily on you guys who know, because i'm so new to all this.

its real flight g4.5 and it runs great on my pc.
i have real flight, phoneix rc ,clearview, reflex, fms and a couple others.
i have been useing real flight for a week now because its harder to fly the models then phoneix.
i switch back and forht between realflight and phoneix because each one does something that the other cant.

if you hav realflight g-3 their is a free 4.5 update and you can play online with us when my pc is working again next week.

Yeah, I've found that those piro funnels are fun to do on the ground, if you can get it working right.  Usually results in crashes, but I'm not trying this stuff in real life.

Suhweet man, I'm down!    I'm already positive that you can't make a video flying as controlled or as well as any of the videos that I have up.  How bout we fly for pink slips, the other members can vote on who flies the best and the loser has to give up his heli.  I can take you out on the 500 or the 450 pro, it's up to you.  Heck, I can even out fly you with my 250.

I'm looking forward to your video of you flying this Sunday.  Here is a taste of what you'll have to be capable of doing to compete:

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Un2p_vy3qGc" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Un2p_vy3qGc</a>

Just try to beat that flying before you try to contend with my current flying skills.  That video was made about 2 months ago and I practice 30 mins a day on the sim.

All right Clown, the ball is in your court, put up or shut up.

Oh, and better yet, I don't use any Co Pilots to keep my heli in the air.

Not knocking anyone who uses them, but WC does, and thinks he has control.  Also not saying I'm an amazing pilot, but if WC puts the challenge there, I know he can't compete.

RC Dbutz, ok, so you can fly circuits, figure 8's, inverted, bank, sideways, rightside up, backwards while inverted.... But can you punch out like Wicked?  I didn't think so.

Wickedclown, you may have him with your punchouts.  That's like 10 on the difficulty scale.
