I appreciate all the feedback.  I was wondering if the ESky FMS Simulator needs to use special settings in the Clearview Sim so that the CP works properly.  I have been flying the "Blade CP" choice but I don't know if I am suppose to do something to get the CP to respond like it should.  (I'm not sure how it should!)  Or should I try to hook up my TX from the Esky Belt CP 450 to the computer?  If so, what do I need? I have the some USB cords, but don't know how to connect to the TX

Thanks again!

no play clearview with the fms tx. don't use the heli tx. now all you have to do to get the tx to work propoerly is to calibrate the tx with clearview and then your all set. try to play with a trex heli and blade 400 for a more better feel that is like the belt cp v2.

clear view is more relistic. you can buy the softdog cable for the tx to connect to the computer via usb. look at xheli and go to the hbfp v2 spare parts and then you'll see it.

The main advantage to using the transmitter that comes with the FMS sim is that it is USB powered. If you use your heli transmitter, you will need to have your transmitter turned on and be using your $$ AA batterys.

Only drawback is the FMS transmitter is only 4 channel, but for most flying it is all you need. With the 4 channel transmitter hooked up, the 3D helis automatically go into idle up mode when you go inverted. You can set up the controls so that it is always in idle up mode if you like.

Another nice thing about the USB transmitter is that you can leave it hooked up to your computer and not have to mess with switching it back and forth with your heli and adjusting all the trims and stuff.

I have RealFlight G2 and FMS on my computer. I use the transmitter that came with RealFlight. It is a 6 channel transmitter, so it does have the idle up switches and stuff which is nice, but like I said not neccesary.

I just installed Clearview and it is way better than either the RealFlight G2 or FMS. There are allot more aircratf and scenery options. Really nice graphics too. I have it installed on Windows Vista with no issues. You can download it and install it for free to try it out. Not all the aircraft are available, but there is enough to give you a good idea of how it works. If you decide you want it, you can buy the activation code online with credit card or PayPal.

+1 for Clearview. Makes FMS look like a piece of garbage
