From the video That looks like a good backyard or park flyer. Maybe the 3D is a stretch for it but for those that don't like Fixed Pitch, the collective pitch charactoristics of this heli may be better for them.

3D is kinda of a stretch for the CP3 but your right it would make a good park flyer. It handles the wind much better than the FP helis.

I'm surprise that it can go 3D out of the box without tweaking at all. Esky only test these heli in normal mode only.

Nice video 3dt.

Tony, looks like that heli really needs more pitch and head speed.Piro rate,is it adjustable in the transmitter or does it have to be adjusted on the heli.

Dave
Yea the heli needs more headspeed but since it's uses only a brushed motor that's the most it will get. Unless I re-time the motor. As for the piro rate, to increase it you will have to turn down the gain. The higher the gain the slow the piro rate. And to adjust the gain you will have to do it on the 4-in-1 unit which is in the helicopter.

For this helicopter can you change the transmitter and receiver with a DX7, instead of using the stock tx?

Rocketman
I don't think you can can the rx is built into the 4-in-1 unit.

Pacasa
Did you give full left stick on accident of maybe reversed the ch 3 switch during the pre flight check? The esc should have a safety feature so that the motor will not turn on (having the throttle at mid stick) when you plug in the battery pack.
