Nitro Planes New! FMS Scale Skyline 182 Trainer "Review"

Upon recieving the skyline trainer, I open Up the box and was amazed at the detail of the EPO foam scale trainer looks. Even thought I'm not a beginner at this Rc Flying Hobby, looking at the trainer on the Nitroplanes.com website, it kept me curious at the scale looks and to read that the trainer model has a 55" wingspan got me going. As the spec's read.

Specifications:

Wingspan: 55.5in / 1410mm
Overall Lenght: 40.5in / 1030mm
Flying Weight: 1100g
Wing Area; 27.35dm2
Wing Loading: 34g / dm2
(700kv) Motor Drive System Brushless Outrunner
Servo's: 4x9g High Speed Micro Servo's
Speed Controller: 25A Brushless ESC
Battery: 11.1v 1800mAh Li-po
4 CH Multi-Functional FM Radio Trasmitter / 6 CH Micro Receiver
3000 Feet Control Range (1000m)

After reading this, I just had to have one for my collection. Plane Arrived on time and was assembled in less than a 1 1/2 hour. Only needing a small screw driver, "glue was included with the kit" but i used 15 minute expoy on mine's. Now after being amazed at how fast the "RTF' "Ready To Fly" kit went together, I found myself at my local flying field with the flying field all to myself, ready for the maiden flight of the Skyline 182 in just about over 2 hours. The skyline 182 flew like a true champ, just as well as any of my other planes. I did loops, spins, low passes, slow passes, fast passes, touch and goes, there was plenty of power. My maiden flight was almost a 8 minute flight with still power left as I could tell the plane never felt week while flying, after recharging my li-po battery, I had only used up 1100 mAh, which Im guesssing I could have flow for about another 3 to 4 minutes easy and still landed with battery juice. I have everything on video to show just how nice and scale the Skyline 182 looks while it flys and will fly.

In closing the new Nitroplanes.com FMS Scale Skyline 182 Trainer is perfect for the first time flyer and all beginners.

Hi All,

Well I bought FMS Skylane 55".... Its a super cool bird!!! must recommend to the beginners. I flew a RC thingi for the first time and it was an amazing experience from ground take off to landing.... every thing about this thing is excellent... But, yes before you fly this thing... you should have done ground sessions on flight simulator.

Cheers!!!

how can it be?
the flying weight is more than 2lb...

another question...
I saw a movie and seems like the wing is bolted to the fuselage , so how can you put this plane into your car and drive to the flying field???
I used to fly 7 years ago and back than my wings were attached by rubbers...
