 I would like to know whats the range of a rc buggy or truck like a traxxas bandit, or stampede Shocked

For a decent radio, with reasonable batteries, it will be far enough that the max range doesn't matter. I would put the Traxxas TQ system, along with the Associated XP series, in this group. They are cheap enough that they pretty much give them away in the RTR packages but they do work and give you a starting point until you upgrade to something better.

The big thing you'll discover is it's really not much fun driving a little spec. You have to be able to see it to drive it, and being able to see the details in what you're driving over is even more important since it pretty much will determine how you drive so you don't wipe out. You'll also find that even walking 100 feet to flip the thing back over when you wipe out gets pretty old pretty fast.
