DEPENDS on how far you want to go in this hobby and how much you want to spend in a year - 1000 to 10000 bucks - these numbers are not a joke - this hobby is not cheap - it is a CRASH and REPAIR hobby
   PHOENIX - 200 BUCKS
how long - depends when you stop crashing every battery - 3 months / 5 years
 start with a 4ch   Grin = VIC

These are just my opinions, so take them for what they are worth.

1. I like Fritz better than Kamikaze

2. Start with a coaxial or fixed pitch heli unless you are a Jedi. I would recommed the Blade MCX for a coaxial and the Esky Honey Bee V2 for fixed pitch.

3. G4.5 is one of the best simulators. You should be able to get alot of helicopters for it. try them all as they all fly a little different. Most of us are satisfyed with the $20 Esky FMS simulator.

4. The time it takes to master flying helicopters is totally up to you. Some take right to it and others will never get there. Some of us have no ambition to be a master and are in it for fun.

5. I think the best helicopters of 2009 are the Blade MCX, the Blade MSR and the Esky Honey Bee V2.

Please read the following link and explore Nuttcaze's entire site. He has devoted much of his time and life to bigginers starting out in this hobby http://www.myrcguides.com/gettingstarted.html

The questions you ask are asked everyday here. Do the research and read the forum top to bottom. There are also a few other forums that have some very knowledgrable people. Search YouTube and watch all the videos your brain can handle. Tons of information on the internet. Take it in and be sure to stop back and ask questions here often.

Welcome to the hardest thing you will ever try  Smiley

I could use some help if anyone wouldn't mind. Huh? I just got a honey bee fixed pitch v2. I'm excited to fly it, but I was wondering how to do the blade traking on it? The manuel seems to say to bend the blade in one way or the other, but how far and when will i know that its just right?  Huh? Can anyone help me?

1.What is Best Recommended Helicopter for a Beginner? Can you give me the Pro's and Con's?

This is a loaded question because everyone feels differently on what's good to start with as a beginner.
Truth is regardless of what anyone here recommends most likely you will get what you like anyhow.
Then probably crash it in less than a minute and be on the bench for repairs.
But..A 4 channel coaxial is perfect for a beginer that has no RC or helicopter experience.

2.What is the difference between Channel 2,3,4,6? Huh?

2 & 3 channel helis do not function anything like a true 4 or 6 channel helicopter.
4 channel flies like a 6 channel but can not do upside down hovers,A 6 channel can do upside down hovers because with a 6 channel you have control of the blade pitch.

2-3 channel helis =Toys
4-6 Channel= hobby grade

3.What is the best Flight Simulator to have? BTW i have an RC flight simulator G4.5.

You already have a good one.

4.How many years does it take to become a Master or a Grandmaster?

Depends on natural ability and time you put in on practicing.

5.What is the best model of hilecopter of 2009?

Again this would be a different answer from every person on here or any place else.
But if you asked what's the best bang for you buck i'd say the Honeybee FPv2 is.
Again this is a single rotor helicopter and will require lots of prctice to get it flying.
A Coaxial helicopter is great for a beginner because it's really stable and will teach you stick control and orientation.

I've flown quite a few different 4 channel Coax helis and personally I think the 4 channel Esky Coco Lama is a great starter.
It's indoor heli that is affordable to repair and if not windy outside can be brought out and it will teach you the basics to comfortably move to a single rotor 4 channel helicopter
