I recently purchased an A-10 from Nitro Planes.  I was unable to get it off the ground on the 1st outing.  It would go forward and when I gave the up-elevator the slightest touch, it began to do wheelies and crashed.  Now it will not start.  I have ordered and replaced the radio receiver and the brush controlls.  Nothing happens.  Any help at all will be appreciated.

I'm looking at buying one of the A-10's - a friend has one and it is a gas to fly... it's the newer version with brushless motors and lipo battery.   Here is my question:  I'm thinking of getting a kit without the receiver since I want to add retractable landing gear and also cut the rudders and hinge them to make them work.  If I'm correct I would need 5 channels minimum:

1 - aileron
2 - elevator
3 - throttle
4 - gear retracting
5 - rudder (would no longer need steering if I have rudder control?)
6 - steering or possible gyro control for ailerons

Here is my question: for the gear, is it possible to run the 3 servos (acutators) off of one channel?  If so, how do I do that?  What servos would  you recommend?

What servo would you recommend for the rudder control?

Thanks

First question-- did you watch the demo video By Night Flyyer? He is dead-on about the elevator having too much throw with the configuration right out of the box. I noticed that right off, testing the equipment before I assembled my own plane. If you can actuate your servos but the EDF's aren't running, you probably have an ESC issue. I'm not an RC plane expert, just an electronics technician, but those that are haven't offered any advice yet.
