As a beginner i was wondering if i should get a Truggy or a Buggy.

I'm looking for an RC that can cruise on streets and go through snow and dirt.

when i meant go through snow i didnt mean piles. very thin padding so itll drift when i turn

oh and im wanting to start with an electric

thinking of something like this

either one is great, i will suggest a eight or eight t 1.0, you can get a roller for about 200$ and use the losi conversion, 80$, and a mamba monster 2200 combo, around 300$ and the losi 4s 25c 5000 mah lipo, 200$and losi hyperion balance charger, 150$

200$
300$
200$
150$
80$
so around 1000$ you got an awsome bug or trug. now if you want to go cheaper and have tone of power, go with the savage flux Cool

In the scale your looking at there won't be much of a difference between a truggy or buggy.

One thing I would be worried about would be the electronics getting wet. Exceeds are cheap for a reason although most of the high end stuff will have the same problem.

don't buy from exceed, they are crap. first off if you want something to play in the snow with then get go with an electric car from traxxas, like the e-maxx, rustler, slash, rustler vxl, bandit vxl and many more. you need a waterproof carto run in the snow like i have a slash i am going to use this winter this year which is waterproof. I have a friend that had exceed cars and he quickly found out that the company stinks. buy a traxxas and you will be happy.

in this hobby you usually get what you pay for. spend more money and get something of a higher quality. i have been looking at both 1/8 scale buggies and truggies. personally i want both! if i have to pick one it would be a truggy.
