Sanyo says that using batteries in paralled (discharging or charging) create "backflow" of electrical pulses and may destroy the batteries.

Any body out there have any experience with this???

I dont know if if this will help or not but, I'm a master electrician and I put and batteries in sieries parrallel all the time on some very extreme ups systems without complications. As long as the batteries are at a single point conection before they enter the esc you should be fine, as far as charging them that would be strictly up to your chargers capacity. Lipo balance chargers are restricted in cell quanity and output current. Charge the lipo's individualy and parrallel the packs for a few minutes before useing them inorder to balance them. Again though I reiterate I have never done this on Lipo's, but a battery is a battery.
