I have 2 Exceed G2's that are about 4 or 5 months old. I recently broke the small bellcrank lever at the top of one of them and decided to install a CNC head I purchased on an online auction site recently. On it is called Walkera 36 CNC Upgrade kit.
When the CNC assembly is installed, there appears to be no way the blade pitch can go negative due to the length of the short Main Blade link. This is with the Main Shaft Sleeve pulled all the way down. This link is made from 2 eyelets and one short all-thread piece. The hole diameters are the same. I did cut a small amount off of the ends of 2 eyelets and reassemble to make a shorter link but the pitch can only now get close to zero. Am I overlooking something? I checked out the upgrade linkage sets on xheli and others and it looks like the main blade link is a one piece unit with the holes on each end being a slightly different size like the stock sets. The link I assembled is made from the shortest all-thread pieces and the 4 shortest eyelets. The Main Blade Link in the CNC kit I have requires 2 small identical size holes. Do I just need to keep trimming off plastic on the bottom of the short eyelets that came with the kit until I can make a link thats short enoungh to give me a small negative pitch or is there a short one-piece link available that will work on this? Any advice is appreciated.
The Main Shaft in the CNC kit appears to be slightly shorter than the stock shaft also so I thats why an upgrade linkage kit is required on these.

Just got a used G2 brushed, stock configuration.
You probably figured this out by now, but there are 2 different link sets available.
P/N 50H08-87 for the CNC upgrade
P/N 50H08-06 for the stock set-up

How are your two birds doing?
