I've got some of each as well depending on what I can get quicker.  Sometimes the LHS has stuff for the Trex when I want a part the same day.  I think the angled blades are meant to direct air towards the electronics as an added means of cooling.

The T-rex gears are designed to force air across the fins on the esc.The one way bearing is for auto rotate.You will also notice the T-rex gears are made of alot harder plastic and do not wear as fast. Smiley

Wicked;

Like Grumpy said....the Align gear set is more durable, harder plastic and fan blades are a nice feature, seen them on two different web sites...complete with bushing, brass spacer and holding plate......$12.99..... just upgraded my Blue Ray with a set....along with a Scorpion motor...13t pinion and Align belt......very tight and smooth running machine now.........and (orange shark fiberglass canopy).......liked yours so much, went out and got one... Cheesy....the local HS had them on sale for $5.00, only had sharks though, reminded me of your video!

I'm trying to decide if WC won the lottery or what?  In the past month, the amount of gear he has bought - would probably keep me going for a year?Huh?
