Thanks again Elk Grin

These things are awesome and super easy to use.
You just insert the wire(up to 12ga.)into the couplers cupped end and solder in place.Easy.



Now just slide the shrink wrap onto the wire close to the battery and out of the way of any heat.

Now the EZ coupler just slides on the Deans tab and holds itself in place.



Now solder this in place.Slide the shrink wrap into place over the connection and apply heat.

Do this on the other post and Ta Da!!!A super easy and super clean soldering job on your Deans Ultra Grin



This is a super find.$3.95 for ten couplers.

Years ago we had some goats in the yard with our dogs so I put up an electric fence and I actually got my wife to test it ....     twice!

Duffe,,,,deans connectors are shaped like a 'T',,,,if you look at them just like a 'T',,,,the top of the 'T' is always positive(red).

Duffe i think when u use the round ones the female (the side with hole) is pos on the battery side of connection. i went deans on everything i own. seems like the round ones (speed400)i think are just to hard to plug and even worse to unplug.
