IT HAS ONLY RUN FOR ABOUT A TOTAL OF TEN MINUTES NOW WHEN I PUSH THE THROTTLE IT BUCKS AND THE LIGHT ON THE ESC IS ONLY  BLINKING RED WHAT DOES THIS MEAN THE INSTURCTIONS THAT IT DID COME WITH DOES NOT HELP ME

Ive heard of esc problems but not with the brushless setup. Contact Andy on this site he may be able to help. Did you order front nitrorcx? They have a help chat room and you may be able to get help there. If not look at this as an opportunity to upgrade to a better esc/brushless set up. I never even run my stock exceed stuff on my drift star. I changed it as soon as I opened the box.

my brushless champion does the same thing but the batt is dead when that happens

I set my esc to shut off at 3.0 volts. I run regular nicd but the operation is more consistent until I reach the shut off then it just wont go.

I had...I mean I have a brushless Dynamite truck and it would do that to me too.
I believe it called cogging. The motor is not getting enough juice. It needs a more
powerful battery. I put a 3s in mine and it got rid of the cogging but I fried the ESC.
I then put a EzRun ESC in it and then it stripped the spur gear and a piece of the
driveshaft broke. So there it sits on a bookshelf collecting dust. Send it back if
possible and if not don't waste your time or money on it.

Can I have your truck if you are not using it? That happend to my Golden Arrow (the battery was very old) then I put a MakKita (I`m not sure what it was called? ) drill battery in it and now it goes alot faster and dosent backup when you go forward when the battery is low. Just try a more powerfull battery, or maybe you did`nt fully charge the battery?
