Need some help..

i went to remove the air filter tube so i can see if i have a 1-2mm opening when full brake but theres a wire tire around the bottom of the tube.. should i remove it to see if i have to tune it... what should i do.. this is my 1st RC CAR...also one of the gas lines are touching the engine.. i will post a pic 2 show u guys wat im talking about.. the wire tire i will label with a blue arrow and the gasline with a green arrow.. SORRY IM A NOOOOOOOB

Thats okay if the tube touchs the engine but I dont know about the wire, sorry Undecided

oh ok, i just didnt want the gas line to melt and my whole are to go up in flames.. wats the worse that can happen if i took the wire tie off?? i would just have 2 put another on?

What exactly do you mean by "wire tie"? Do you mean zip tie?

No prob. Just cut or pull it off. As long as you put another one back on it should be fine. All it does is hold the air filter on, but that is pretty important. So there is no problem in taking it off, just make sure you get it secured tightly when you put it back. If your air filter falls during use off your engine is done.
