F-18 C (Grey)

Hi all-
Im looking at buying the F-18 C, its my first RC plane however i have my private and over two hundred hours in single engine (Real) airplanes. Would this make up for my lack of expierence in RC plane time, and would the F-18 be a good first choice? I am however sold on the edf jets, i would like to stay with those.

The basics of flight (CG, forces of flight, control movements) are the same but I am an airline pilot and a crasher of many RC airplanes. The best plane I have found so far is the Foam Edge 540T. Put your own electronics in it.
